Tapping 1: I’m Not In Control of My Feelings

Side of the Hand: Even though I’m not in control of my feelings… I accept myself and all of my feelings.

Even though I cannot accept that I am not in control of my feelings… I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.

Even though I’m not in control of my feelings… I’m open to the possibility of developing that skill.

Top of the Head: This lack of control over my feelings.
Eyebrow: This lack of control…
Side of the Eye: My feelings are out of my control.
Under the Eye: I’m pretty certain I can’t control my feelings.
Under the Nose: I don’t seem to be in control of my feelings.
Chin: I have not found a way to control my feelings.
Collarbone: I’d really like to be able to control my feelings.
Under the Arm: I’m so ready to have some control over my feelings.

Take a slow breath.

Tapping 2: I’m Not In Control of My Feelings

Side of the Hand: Even though I can’t control my feelings… I accept myself.

Even though I can’t control my feelings… I deeply and profoundly love and respect all of me.

Even though it pains me that I can’t control my feelings… I’m open to feeling surprisingly calm and confident… that I can develop some control over my feelings.

Top of the Head: I can’t control my feelings.
Eyebrow: Can I?
Side of the Eye: Can I make myself sad?
Under the Eye: Can I make myself angry?
Under the Nose: Can I make myself feel overwhelmed?
Chin: I’m pretty sure I can make myself feel scared!
Collarbone: How do I do that?
Under the Arm: How do I focus my thoughts to make me feel a negative emotion?

Top of the Head: Maybe I do have some control after all…
Eyebrow: What if I changed my inner channel?
Side of the Eye: What if I looked at another inner picture?
Under the Eye: What if I remember something a bit more pleasing to me?
Under the Nose: Perhaps I could choose a thought that brings a bit of relief…
Chin: …And allowed myself another thought that brings just a bit of relief.
Collarbone: That would be different… that would be some control!
Under the Arm: I’m open to focusing my mind in ways that bring me relief… even if just for a few precious seconds.

Take a slow breath.
