Side of the Hand: Even though I feel hopeless… and I want to give up… I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I do feel hopeless… and I want to give up sometimes… I acknowledge and respect all of my feelings.

Even though I feel hopeless… and I have my reasons for wanting to give up… I deeply and profoundly accept who I am… and how I feel.

Top of the Head: I feel hopeless.
Eyebrow: I really feel hopeless.
Side of the Eye: And I want to give up.
Under the Eye: You would, too!
Under the Nose: My situation is totally hopeless.
Chin: No it isn’t.
Collarbone: Yes it is!
Under the Arm: I feel hopeless… I want to give up… and I accept myself anyway!

Take a slow breath.

Tapping 2: I Feel Hopeless & Want to Give Up

Side of the Hand: Even though I still feel hopeless… and I still want to give up… I am open to feeling just a bit of relief.

Even though I have reasons to feel hopeless… I accept where I am and how I feel.

Even though I am in a bad place… that’s the truth… I deeply and profoundly love and accept all of me.

Top of the Head: I still feel hopeless.
Eyebrow: Nope, no hope here!
Side of the Eye: Nope, no hope that I can see.
Under the Eye: Nope, not a whiff of hope for me.
Under the Nose: I really have taken it on the Chin:.
Chin: No wonder I want to give up.
Collarbone: I refuse to feel hopeful.
Under the Arm: And I refuse to give up.

Top of the Head: What if I allowed myself to feel… okay?
Eyebrow: It’s okay not to feel hopeful.
Side of the Eye: And it’s okay to accept myself anyway.
Under the Eye: I don’t need to feel hopeful.
Under the Nose: I choose to feel okay.
Chin: I open myself to simple relief.
Collarbone: Sometimes I do not feel hopeful… sometimes I want to give up.
Under the Arm: And right now I choose to feel surprisingly calm and peaceful… anyway.

Take a slow breath.
