Check In: I’m Very Unforgiving

Say aloud:

I’m Very Unforgiving

Notice how true it feels in your body on a scale from 0 to 10. Zero means the statement has no felt charge for you, and 10 means it feels completely true.

Starting intensity: _____

Tapping 1: I’m Very Unforgiving

Side of the Hand: Even though I’m very unforgiving… that’s okay!… Maybe it’s not my job to forgive them.

Even though I’m very unforgiving… I’ve been hurt so much by so many people… I choose to love and accept myself.

Even though I’m very unforgiving… I accept who I am and how I feel about this.

Top of the Head: I’m very unforgiving.
Eyebrow: That’s okay.
Side of the Eye: They are unforgivable.
Under the Eye: I’m unforgivable, too.
Under the Nose: We’re all unforgivable!
Chin: Why should I be the one to forgive?
Collarbone: I refuse to forgive anyone… especially myself.
Under the Arm: I refuse to be forgiving… and you can’t make me!

Take a slow breath.

Tapping 2: I’m Very Unforgiving

Side of the Hand: Even though I’m very unforgiving… that’s just the way I am… I accept myself anyway.

Even though I still feel very unforgiving towards them… I am open to the possibility of forgiving myself.

Even though I can’t forgive myself for being so very unforgiving… I’ve decided to accept myself anyway.

Top of the Head: I am still very unforgiving.
Eyebrow: I have my reasons for being unforgiving.
Side of the Eye: Maybe I don’t need to forgive them.
Under the Eye: I refuse to be forced into forgiving them.
Under the Nose: But what if I forgave myself?
Chin: That might bring me some relief.
Collarbone: What if I forgave myself for the little stuff?
Under the Arm: That would be different… and I choose to find it surprisingly easy to forgive myself… over the little stuff.

Take a slow breath.

Tapping 3: I’m Very Unforgiving

Top of the Head: What if it is all little stuff?
Eyebrow: It doesn’t feel so little to me.
Side of the Eye: Some things are just totally unforgivable.
Under the Eye: I choose to be okay… even if I don’t forgive.
Under the Nose: I accept peace for myself… even if they are unforgivable.
Chin: I accept peace for myself… even if I refuse to accept forgiveness.
Collarbone: I am where I am.
Under the Arm: I am open to feeling forgiveness or not… and I choose to be totally at peace either way.

Take a slow breath.
