Watch, Then Practice

Replenishment Can Happen While You Are Awake

Energy is not only spent during the day and replaced during sleep. Presence, play, beauty, appreciation, connection, encouragement, and contact with nature can feel nourishing. The shift may be subtle, but noticing it helps the body receive what would otherwise pass unnoticed.

This does not mean taking energy from another person or denying the need for food, rest, medical care, and practical limits. Think of it as resonance: a calm person, moving leaves, a flower through the sidewalk, or a caring voice can remind your body of a quality it is ready to feel.

Tapping 1: Widen the Field of Attention

Notice whether attention has become narrow and charged. Feel the feet and soften the eyes.

Side of the Hand: Even though part of me feels narrow and charged, I choose
to soften my eyes, open my heart, wiggle my toes, and wonder what might support
me now.

Top of the Head: I relax my eyes.
Eyebrow: I open my heart as much as feels right.
Side of the Eye: I relax my breathing.
Under the Eye: I soften my belly.
Under the Nose: I move my body a little.
Chin: I feel my toes.
Collarbone: I take a steadying breath.
Under the Arm: What could I notice that would nourish me?

Top of the Head: I blend in a little more curiosity.

Take a breath and let one supportive sight, sound, sensation, or connection
come into awareness.

Tapping 2: Invite Helpful Filtering

You cannot attend to everything. If spiritual language fits, invite the Universe or a larger intelligence to help direct your awareness. Otherwise, address your own wise attention and nervous system.

Side of the Hand: I could use help noticing what matters and what nourishes
me. Please draw my attention toward what deserves it.

I welcome the gifts that support me, and I do not need to absorb every signal
around me.

Top of the Head: Let me tune toward what helps.
Eyebrow: Let me notice what can make a meaningful difference.
Side of the Eye: And let me receive some replenishment.
Under the Eye: I do not need to pay attention to everything.
Under the Nose: That is impossible anyway.
Chin: I invite useful guidance and discernment.
Collarbone: Draw my attention to what needs action.
Under the Arm: And to the beautiful ways life supports me.

Take a breath. Notice what your attention selects without forcing an answer.

Build an Energy Ecosystem

Learn which experiences help you contact qualities such as groundedness, playfulness, steadiness, warmth, or creative momentum. Receive only what feels healthy and appropriate. Let support be freely offered and freely received, not extracted. Over time, this becomes an energy ecosystem you can participate in intentionally.
