Doubt Often Appears Near Core Material

As work reaches deeper parking brakes, a part may insist that tapping cannot possibly be enough. Discouragement may be discouragement, fear of hoping, or a protector trying to prevent another failed attempt.

Tapping does not have to be the entire answer. It can work alongside coaching, therapy, medical care, bodywork, community, practical change, and other appropriate support. Continuing to show up means staying in relationship with what is needed, not proving one method can do everything.

Tapping: Include the Doubt

Side of the Hand: Even though part of me believes this cannot be enough, I
accept the discouragement and the fear that may be beneath it.

Top of the Head: This is too much.
Eyebrow: A few fingers on tapping points could not possibly address it.
Side of the Eye: Perhaps this part is protecting me from hope.
Under the Eye: I do not have to claim tapping is the whole picture.
Under the Nose: I can use the tools, people, and care that fit.
Chin: I am allowed to ask for help.
Collarbone: And I do continue to show up.
Under the Arm: My persistence is evidence of relationship with myself.

Measure Showing Up More Broadly

Showing up may mean one round, one honest question, scheduling support, drinking water, resting, or choosing not to force a practice. The trustworthy pattern is that you do not abandon yourself because change is incomplete.
