Action Can Reprogram From the Outside In

When fear freezes the system, reduce the task until the Primitive Brain can imagine beginning. The first action might be writing the title, finding a phone number, putting on shoes, or tapping at the collarbone while looking at the task.

The smallness is strategic. Each completed step teaches: I moved, I remained connected, and nothing ate me.

Tapping: Thaw With Encouragement

Side of the Hand: Even though my Primitive Brain is frozen and the warning
thoughts are loud, I am willing to make this step almost ridiculously small.

Top of the Head: This frozen fear.
Eyebrow: My Primitive Brain could not see a win.
Side of the Eye: I am sorry for the times I pushed and shamed it.
Under the Eye: There, there, Primitive Brain; I am here.
Under the Nose: We can tap and write down one next action.
Chin: We do not have to complete the whole journey.
Collarbone: This tiny movement is thawing the pattern.
Under the Arm: I will notice and reward our willingness to begin.

Become a Trustworthy Coach Inside

Encourage rather than threaten. Celebrate completion before enlarging the step. As the Primitive Brain associates action with support and attainable wins, it may begin supplying energy rather than only resistance.
