- Creating Safe and Healthy Boundaries
Healthy boundaries are crucial for feeling safe. In this Body Vitality Workshop call, we look at what is a boundary, the different types, boundary violations, why it is so hard to set boundaries, body guidance, emotional guidance, having a good NO, and feeling safe in your body through practicing boundaries consciously.

- Grounding Exercises - Regain Your Balance and Composure
When we start reconnecting with the body, sometimes we can find triggers that feel overwhelming. Here are some techniques that help us regain some balance and regroup. This audio covers what it means to be "grounded" along with some basic grounding techniques.
- Why do I feel disconnected… unsafe and unhappy in my body?
In this Body Vitality Workshop call we: explain some basic grounding techniques, discuss what being disconnected and dissociated from our bodies means, explain why you may have initially lost connection to your body, and how the mind and body stores trauma, talk about why we want to connect with our bodies, list common blocks to reconnecting with our bodies, and explain why we sometimes repeat experiences that feel bad.
- Do you feel SAFE in your body?
Say aloud: I feel SAFE in my body. How TRUE does it feel in your body on a scale of 0-10 where 0 means "not true at ALL" and 10 means "I feel totally safe." Until we feel safe -- truly SAFE -- nothing else will fall into place. We can't feel abundant, get consistent body guidance, enjoy life, or thrive. Our primitive brain will have us doing things we'd rather not, and we'll often find ourselves in emotional conflict over even "simple" life choices.

- Moving Up The Vibrational Scale
Moving up the vibrational (emotional) scale is a lot like playing the children’s game, Chutes & Ladders… 1) You are where you are. 2) Each “move” can only take you so far. 3) Sometimes you backslide, and that’s okay. 4) It’s nice when you find a shortcut. 5) Turn-by-turn, step-by-step… eventually gets you where you want to be. With EFT we notice the emotional “chutes” and eliminate them, while at the same time we train our energy system to take “ladders” to quickly and confidently move up the vibrational scale.
- Body YES and Body NO
In school I learned to analyze problems and use my BRAIN to decide what to do. I've been blessed with a good brain, yet I discovered that logic alone... unbalanced by heart and body wisdom... lead me to stress, worry, and an incurable (so they thought!) dis-ease. My road back to health started many years ago with a simple directive from my coach: Go within. Listen. Follow. On September 7, 2008 we had a 97-minute teleclass on Body YES and Body NO: Learning to Listen to the Body's Intuitive, Intelligent Guidance. It was the first topic in our Body Vitality Workshop that we're holding as part of the Thriving Now Team.
