Listen, Then Practice
With Rick Wilkes and Cathy Vartuli
When Financial Events Activate Survival Alarm
Financial uncertainty can create a sense of helplessness while the body reacts as if survival is immediately threatened. News, account balances, bills, work changes, and other people’s fear can keep the primitive brain activated even when panic cannot solve the problem.
This session invites you to notice what triggers you most and what the present situation reminds you of. Tap with the body alarm, compulsive checking, shame about being a “financial failure,” hopelessness, and resistance to any perspective that feels too positive to believe.
Calm confidence is not denial. It can help you see the numbers, seek practical advice, make decisions, and respond from more of yourself.
