Listen, Then Practice
Reclaim Choice from Trauma-Based Vows
Sue Beer explores vows and conclusions formed in response to trauma—decisions such as never trusting, never needing, never loving, or never being vulnerable again. Those promises may once have created a sense of protection or power.
The practice is not to rip protection away. It is to notice whether an old vow still fits, honor why it formed, and explore what present-day choice might become possible now.
