Exploring Emotional Options

We welcome you to this Emotional Palette of Possibilities!

Each of these emotions has been selected by an individual member of our community as their focus when they went through the course the first time. It's a diverse collection! We offer it to you to inspire and encourage exploration.

We understand that choosing just ONE emotion can be a challenge, as many (most?) of them may be attractive or appealing to you. However, we invite you to take a moment and let your body and mind feel into the emotional state that would truly support your thriving right here and now. Allow yourself to connect with the emotion that feels like it could be a difference-maker in your life.

Trust your intuition and embrace the emotional state that resonates with you and is calling out to you the most! Your choice may not even be on this list... awe

  • The first time I went through the course, I chose “eager” — an emotion I really wanted to feel more in my life as a “spice” to add to feeling calm and confident (my core state I practice).

Wow. A little bit of eagerness really does spice things up!

I’d love to hear from you what emotion you choose… if it is a YES for you to share. Let me know if it is not currently on the list above so I can add it to this Emotional Palette of Possibilities!

  • Definitely “Competent.” Have never felt I was good enough in most aspects of life — career, within the family, money-making.

    • Awesome! I love Competent as an energy. It feels grounding and confidence-affirming. I’d like to invite those of us who value competence who also fall into the trap of not feeling good enough:

Consider separating the feeling and desire to GROW, to become more (skilled, useful, savvy) from the actual reality of ones competence — meaning Good and Sufficient.

It shocks me when I do sometimes! I’m reasonably good and sufficient (meaning not in threat to my survival or hurting myself or others) in so many more areas than I used to give myself credit. That helps me calm myself, boost the core sense of confidence, and concurrently know “I ain’t done yet.”

There’s quite a difference in being competent to have a good time at the beach and being competent to surf a tsunami. Uhh, can anyone do that? So defining competence to be reasonable and useful… feels competent. How’s that for a savvy little self-reinforcement?

      Thanks for sharing, Barbara!

    • Mmmm… nice. When we’re calm and confident enough to do that, surrendered and trusting can be such a sweet state of being.

I’m curious whether it might feel different if you mixed in another state as well? For example, I find myself when I try those on that there are only very specific people and certain times when that Being state feels… safe. At other times, as long as I am Clear… that adds a dimension of awareness of rightness (or not).

      Anything come up for you?
