  3. I have to say these Affirimations are really hitting the nail on the head.
    Rick i’ve been yelling at u,and telling u [nothing ever works for me] and walking out of room,in a mad rage ,really mad rage,is it surprising ive not been making much progress.Hope you dont get that in one on with
    people.Just ive been down soo many roads ,and spent a fortune,and im naturally an independant woman. Kay

    1. Well, you can argue with me if that is what your energy needs to do. I don’t mind . The idea behind the exercise is to also feel for the part of YOU inside that may be saying you won’t get well, and shift that. Do you feel that part of you shifting? Feels like your clarity about healing yourself is getting stronger. Yea!

  4. It’s me again.Well all i can say is its not surprising Rick you sound like its fun.I started out on the forgiveness one ,and am afraid i was arguing with you again …you know what in the end i was laughing soo much.
    What crazy stuff is in our heads..you people are doing incredible work.
    It takes persistance,but when one has a broken wrist and FMS, well working on oneself is not such a bad idea….Incredible star rating 10

  5. Well Carol after 2 hours of battling it out about not been curable
    ive been raging at the Doctors about how wrong they were [and i am curable ] So what you think,is it what you expect to happen .Think that must have hit a zero

  6. Well last 3 limiting beliefs didnt really seem to be me ,just a bit on the why me ,but ive tried not to dwell on that.Hopefully the rest will be as
    easy…..its best to follow them in correct order as i think you both must have put a lot of thought into that.Thank you…

    1. There is not a specific order. Pick the ones that “speak” to you. There isn’t anything “wrong” with going through them in order, but many will not apply to a person, or at a particular time.

      1. Is it possible when one brings limiting beliefs down to a zero,even though you dont get too emotionally charged that we can feel down and Depressed even though we have totally changed our belief as with me on lousy life..
        Is the brain maybe trying to process this new belief.?

        1. It takes time to process shifts. And I’ve noticed you can get really anxious and flooded. When you SOOTHE yourself, your body will shift to a place where it wants and is asking for REST time… that can feel “down” when what it actually can be is your body FINALLY catching a break. When we’re healing, we may need many more hours of rest and renewal time than when we’re actively happy and healthy… even 14 hours of sleep can be normal and good during a healing cycle.

          1. So am i overdoing it or what is it your saying .Icant sleep im so sore. Every day its like i have all these issues coming up anyway so what am i to do ?

      1. Thanks got through.Was wondering is it more challenging getting through limiting beliefs,or Emotional blocks or is it much the same with doing both.?

        1. Both are energies you want to shift. Part of what you are learning here is what YOUR inner world is like, that is draining your personal healing energy. Is it that you are chronically angry (an emotional state) or telling yourself you are taking too long to heal (a limiting belief)? Take any one of these and tap so you have some relief, and you are releasing more self-healing energy for your system to use TODAY for your well-being.

  7. Im going through a really tough time at moment .Have released a lot of limiting beliefs…My body tonight is soo sore,and will not quieten no matter what ive done.Never been soo sore in my whole life.Could this be an Anger issue maybe.

    1. If you’ve been doing a LOT of tapping, around powerful emotions, it can be like running a marathon in terms of soreness.  So… take a break. Ask your body what it wants. Hold a place on your body that is sore and ask it what it would like? And see what answer you get. And take a break from tapping for a day and when you return, ask your body what is appropriate. It might just be a round or two.

      It’s no different with massage. If you get incredible soreness, you may be pushing too hard too fast. Be gentle with yourself.

      If you are a water person, a bath can be very helpful to draw off the excess soreness and energy.

      1. Well iv’e done a marathon of Tapping.Im down to how can i be happy with this condition.And with me its a 2 hour Tapping session each time bringing it down to zero.Yes i know iv’e been pushing things hard,so will take a break.
        last time i got in bath with this plaster on i nearly broke my neck…..will do that i think that is what it needs.
        Thank you.when i go back over my limiting beliefs,and ask myself what i now believe,its a 100% no,so must be doing something right……Just body is in bad way..still very sore.Thank you again.

  8. Well i asked my body what it wanted and said rest in bed ,which iv’e done and a lot less sore.A bit scared of bath after last episode.This plaster will be off tomorrow.Like a bird with a broken wing [grounded]
    And FMS on top of it all.So tomorrow night ill be in bath….
    Its just i didnt have to go looking for my limiting beliefs,and emotional state,its been on surface waiting to be cleared,my reason why i get anxious and want to battle on ,but my body is telling me hang on i exist too.Im crying a lot as its all waiting to be cleared,and dont want people seeing me crying[husband ],thats all ,and one friend also…..

  9. Ive broken out in hives ,and itching.A childhood problem.Could this be connected to releasing emotional Trauma?

    1. It can. When people are healing, they often “unwind” the pains from their past. From observation, it seems to me that we as humans often need to “reactivate” a emotional-physical memory in order to clear it. You’d definitely not be alone in that. I’ve had that experience, too.   10. Is it possible for the body to stay severly sore for days after Trauma release.?Do other people experience  the soreness too or is it just me.
    Feeling very low today.Had full cast put on my wrist which is causing more pain…

    1. I believe you said that even before you started tapping that you would have intense pain all over. So this isn’t completely new, right? Most times if people process their emotions with pain and soreness, when then “exercise” their energy system, they will often have soreness like you describe after unfreezing a trauma.

      A person’s response to energy work is always unique. Always listen to your body, give it comfort and safety. And perhaps even accept that if you have a “big release” that the body would naturally need recovery afterwards. You can balance that by developing a listening and honoring of the body and it’s self-healing needs.

  11. Im really not sure if i understand the primitive brain Audio.Ijust did Tapping to a zero in Anger,and it was huge toward my parents.The Anger is gone,and i found myself Tapping to the inner child back then
    which just came Automatically,telling her i lived her ,and she went through so much…Idont have vivid memories about my childhood.
    Ifeel in bad pain in my hip after doing it and down …Is what im doing ok.And the pain reaction normal too.I seem to direct most of the Tapping to my childhood anyway,and all the feelings…Im in bad pain now ,and still feeling Traumatised…despite not feeling Anger any more..
    Is it my brain processing …?

  12. There is no doubt about it its Traumatic releasing limiting beliefs.
    Im in a sort of state of shock,but knew my Traumas were deep anyway.
    Im experiencing bodily jerking,shivering ,you name it .Shows how emotions are stored in body,and cause it to tense up.Its scary at times,
    well most of time..Im having a EFT Theraphist coming to me on Monday.
    She lives very close,finding out they’re all over the Country.
    She’s not charging me for the visit,which is very kind….

  13. Another question: If for eg some pain was related to Anger issues,is it usual for pain to go immediately,or those it take ‘time’ for brain to process it before it clears? Which is most common especially with FMS?

  14. Feeling very low, and Depressed after doing Fear yesterday,and Anger day before.Body got all hot, and red, and felt strange.still do.Even though i brought fear down to zero ,i still feel some type of Anxiety.
    Im not sure if im up to Tapping on that today,as my body is itching
    too ,and sore. Am i normal? God i need soo much re-assurance it’s
    not funny…..

  15. When i asked EFT Therapist here what they thought of my reactions to Trauma release they said i should not have such reactions,which made me feel worse,and like some kind of Alien….

    1. Feel free to have your EFT therapist contact us at support@thrivingnow.com – It is well documented in energy therapy experiences that when touching on traumatic memories, the body may re-member (re-create) patterns of the past as they are unwound. We see this in energy work in massage therapy, and in energy work in tapping. When you do get such reactions, the key is to stop and soothe yourself. Do grounding exercises. Do gentle tapping and breathing. Get extra support.

  16. So your saying that for eg i Tapped yesterday on fear,and my hip that had quietened down has started up bad again,your saying this is ‘normal’ for body to react this way?

  17. God i’m in awful pain today like before i started Tapping .Iv’e done grounding,Tapping for pain relief with Carol Look,and nothing is helping.
    Iv’e covered two emotional states over two days Anger,and Fear….
    I’m in a mess today..totally,maybe i should finish my limiting beliefs first..I need to do one on Anxiety badly.What will i do? Iv’e people emailing me from Guai support group in intolerable pain…also…..

  18. If someone Taps on fear ,and bring’s it down to zero. Has a break from Tapping for 2 day’s,still feel that fear in their body,is it still processing
    the Fear?Maybe around a suspected very Traumatic event,and they have the reaction 2 days later,not after the Tapping session? Like an emotional ‘event’…..2 day’s later.

    1. When you tap to bring fear down to a zero, you are doing so “in the moment.” Fear is like happy, or sad. It is an emotional state. No one ever tapped, brought fear down to a zero, and never ever felt fear again! Make sense?

      When you are tapping on fear, you are helping your system become stronger. Sometimes, as you mentioned in your comment, if there is a “suspected very Traumatic event” still stuck in your system, of course your body-mind-spirit will continue to ask for relief and continue processing until relief is found. Sometimes, that takes awhile. Sometimes, it takes slowly building up your strength over the months, and building up support to help you through it.

  19. So really your saying Rick is continuing to work the other emotional states that may also play a role in a specific Traumatic event .The more
    we get through the emotional states, the more were getting closer to shifting a big ‘event’,and many others?.So it’s really case of working through the weeks and month’s to reach our goal? Pain relief will come when weve done all the work……

  20. How long is it advisable to leave between big releases generally for body to recover? I’m definitely getting better with talking to ,and connecting to inner child.! Still get releases when i do this in body,
    and emotionally.Thank’s for all the advice,and help.!

  21. I was thinking,if doing this Trauma release,to do it gradually
    over the whole day ,that the intensity of body’s reaction will be less?
    Hope this is not a stupid question….just thinking what’s the best
    approach to the body not feeling too many intense reactions.
    When i looked at the Tapping Solution they were tapping for day’s.
    Didn’t seem to get bad reaction’s only relief.Even ones with body pain.
    I know i’m different…..i suppose that’s where it’s at.

    1. During the 4 day retreat for The Tapping Solution, the participants were supported by a TEAM of people. There was love and support all around them during that time.

      Also, the participants were pre-screened for their readiness to participate in an intensive experience.

      A person’s healthy pace for healing processes is unique. There is nothing wrong with taking it slow, and allowing time for your body and mind to shift and integrate. Indeed, I personally believe that is better for long-term thriving than the INTENSIVE approach as a first step. Intensives have their place, but I feel they are best after basic emotional stability and a circle of support at home are in place.
