We’ve all gotten in our own way. We feel motivated... excited about moving forward. We have a clear goal in mind. We may even get close, when… WHAM! We do something that puts us back where we started... a bit bruised and feeling defeated. Use this EFT audio to effectively clear the subconscious blocks to feeling safe moving forward with ease.

Sabotage: destructive or obstructive action carried out to hinder an intention or effort, an act or process tending to hamper or hurt, deliberate subversion.

Self-sabotage is NOT deliberate... It is NOT something you plan out in advance as a calculated strike on your own well-being. It arises from sub-conscious blocks and fears and past experiences (as well as basic human “self-preservation at all costs”). You know these blocks exist when you feel the pain of energetic conflict within you. You start to understand that there is some energy blocking you from experiencing what you desire: in love, in business and finances, in physical well-being.

Self-sabotage in business:
- We might be having the perfect job interview.
- We feel polished, poised, prepared, and articulate.
- We're making a great impression and know it.
- Then we tank. In words, attitudes, irrational fears, showing up late for a follow-up...

Self-sabotage in relationships:
- Whether our goal is to make friends or form an romantic connection, subconscious fears and rules can interfere.
- We may find, just when we find someone we’d like to connect with, we do something to screw it up.
- We may step too close, or withdraw, or do something otherwise out-of-character that makes both people uncomfortable.
- When you find that you are “not yourself” in relationships, there are energies you can address with EFT.

Some of us sabotage our health as well... especially around weight loss and self care.
- We may be making great progress... feeling good.
- Feeling like we FINALLY are on the right path.
- We're going to make it this time!
- Poof! We stop. We “forget” to exercise. Or binge and then beat ourselves up so much that we slide back down the vibrational scale to Despair.

Why would we do this to ourselves?
Unconscious or conscious beliefs and fears that get in the way:
- We subconsciously “know” we don’t DESERVE what we are reaching for or might achieve.
- Part of us doesn’t feel SAFE achieving it.
- We perceive that we would LOSE SOMETHING crucial to our “security.” (Ask: “What benefits do I get by staying where I am?”).
- we subconsciously expect or even “need” to be PUNISHED for some past guilt(s).

The primitive brain is often what hinders us, because of beliefs and fears. In times of stress, it can “take over” in order to keep us “safe” -- even if that means keeping us from Joy.
- Remember: these beliefs and fears that lead to self-sabotaging behaviors are almost always subconscious... until you notice a recurring theme.
- The primitive brain’s job is to keep us safe. It isn't our enemy. EFT opens an energetic, respectful dialogue with the primitive brain to help create an alignment between head, heart, gut, and groin.
- Until there is alignment, the primitive brain will be incredibly creative in finding ways to hinder us... if it believes it is safer for us to stay where we are, within our COMFORT ZONE. And it can even keep us obvlivious to what it is doing.
- By shifting the primitive brain’s “programming,” we can harness its creativity and energy to help us rather than holding us back. That is one of the key uses of EFT.
