In our last newsletter, Cathy talked about having your own experiences, letting go of how others see a person, place, or way of life. Allowing yourself to feel for what is right for YOU.
How’s this related to stress? Well, for me I had learned growing up that intense stress made me GOOD BOY.
Worry about what others would think “made” me study (even if I really didn’t care about the subject!).
Worry amped up the stress in my work… so I could drive myself 100+ hours a week (health be damned!).
Worry about loved ones made me intensely focused on their needs (self-care? I don’t need no stinkin’ self-care!).
What I desperately needed and didn’t have at the time were Fresh Approaches.
There is a way to say YES to what you want, and let go of the stress of obligations.
There are ways to balance life, work, and love so that you are nourished and replenished… while also being of generous service to others.
I know. It’s the way life is for me now. It’s why spreading word and rejoicing in being a part of a worldwide community of people making it Easier and EASIER for people to let go of stress is so core to my heart’s mission.
