Stepping Out into the World (Start 00:30) When we’ve lived within a comfort zone for a long time, stretching and reaching into something new and different can feel deeply threatening. Even though logically we know better, our body can feel scared that it will end up “sick and dying in the gutter.” This survival fear can be addressed playfully with EFT. We can shift the feelings in our body to ones of greater peace while at the same time playfully exploring how enjoyable new experiences can be in revitalizing our creativity.

I’m Going to FAIL! (Start 29:16) Ivana is not alone in hearing a voice inside her head proclaiming the fear that she is going to fail. What is interesting is how a specific event many years in her past, when she took an entrance exam to get into a university and did in fact fail the exam, left an energetic signature that has stayed with her for many years. This creates a sense of doom and makes it difficult to really enjoy lifes successes and learn confidently from “failures.” Do you have any such negative energy signatures from your past?  I believe we are creative spirits who can see virtually infinite choices and feel infinite desires. For those of us who are “achievement oriented,” this can build up an inner pressure and energy disruption until we can find peace in what is done and left undone. At the core, there is a primitive fear of death. As we move into the more mature periods of our life, I find it comforting to KNOW without a doubt that we are eternal beings having physical experience. That is a knowing that cannot come from a book or by me saying it to you. For me, it came through focused awareness on all the energies and guidance that comes from non-physical. Once you have had enough of those experiences, that question of life after death of the body is answered… and we can feel good knowing that we can’t fail, we can’t get it wrong, because we are never ever “done.”
