When I first discovered EFT, I saw the value in it however, the way it was presented just didn’t pull me in. Then, a few years ago I ‘Googled’ EFT and the Law of Attraction and Rick’s Thriving Now web site came up. I am constantly blown away by the material. It’s like Christmas every time I log on and find new calls to download to my MP3 player. Dish washing has become so much more pleasurable. Although, I have to take a moment to wipe the suds off my hands before tapping along! _____________________________________________________ NOTE: This is my introduction that I posted when I first joined the Thriving Now team in July 10, 2007: Hi all…!!! I’ve been a full time hypnotherapist for a few years now. I started out in electrical engineering technology and then spent 18 years in Real Estate. Yes, quite a varied past. I’ve been involved in a lot of self-help and healing work over the last 15 years (Reiki, Core Belief Work, Law of Attraction/Abraham etc) and am still learning and growing. I like the term I’ve heard Rick use ‘student/teacher’. I was briefly introduced to EFT 3 or 4 years ago but it didn’t stick with me. Now I realize that it was because of the way it was presented in a stiff and mechanical approach. But I also know that I was not ready for EFT back then. Mid. 2006, I happened upon Rick’s thrivingnow.com web site (after googling EFT and LOA)and heard via the MP3 recordings how intuitively and artfully EFT can be done. I knew right away that EFT was the missing piece in my hypnosis practice and my life. I downloaded every free MP3 I could lay my hands on from Rick’s site. I was blown away as I listened to this wonderful material. I also signed up for Carol Look’s 2006 tele-conference call downloads and have listened to all of her Voice of America interviews (65 in total). I am the type of person who totally immerses themselves in a subject of interest. Very shortly after, I took Level 1 and Level 2 EFT workshops held by David Rourke a 10 year EFT veteran and EFT Master. I am fortunate that David is located in the Niagara area. At his workshop I bought Gary Craig’s first two DVD sets and soon will be studying for my CC and ADV in the next while. Plus will be enrolling in EFT level 3 training the next time David is offering it. All along (quite slow at first I must admit) I have been tapping on myself and my family members’ lots of successes and a few frustrations. Also, I have been slowly integrating EFT into my hypnosis work. I am now starting to do some free EFT phone coaching calls with some friends to practice tapping while not being face to face. These calls are going very well! About 2 weeks ago my husband and I decided we want to move again next spring (we’ve been here in Niagara about a year and a half) to a hobby farm in small Northern Ontario town. Yes, a bit colder in the winter but for us, a big lifestyle improvement for sure. I always wanted chickens! Sooooo… now I know why EFT and especially the phone coaching has been so attractive to me. It gives me the freedom to move north, not disrupt my practice and keep helping others! I look forward to learning more about intuitive/advanced forms of EFT as a TN member. I am open and ready!!!
