“I've tried everything! Why would this time be different?” Or, “I don't want to try and fail again. It hurts too much!” If these sound familiar, listen and tap along with us as we shift this stubborn limiting belief so you can move more easily towards your optimal, healthy weight.

This is the outline for the call I Will Never Lose This Weight, with co-hosts Rick Wilkes and Cathy Vartuli.

Even if we have shifted a lot of old beliefs, this one may be pretty ingrained, blocking our movement forward.

- I have tried everything, why would this time be different?
- I don’t want to hope and fail again. I feel stupid and it hurts.
- If I don’t try, maybe people will think I don’t care. That’s better than them knowing I’m a failure. That I have no control.
- Have to be deprived to lose weight
- Emotional connection through food
- I feel people judging me as weak when they see the weight

Different perspective.
- Work with your body instead of fighting it.
- Focus on finding balance and listening to body yes and no.
- Tap on issues that block connection and sense of safety.
- Can still eat, enjoy food (Mindful Eating call on 2/10).
- Can even eat too much sometimes if we need.
- Just about smaller shifts around relationship to food and self and movement.
- Maybe it doesn’t need to be an effort. Maybe it can be natural and easy?

Our intention with the Body Vitality Workshop is to help you...

- develop an amazing relationship with your body...
- help it feel surprisingly safe, calm, and confident...
- listen to and follow its intuitive guidance...
- consciously direct its vibrational trend towards total well-being...
- and delight in the pleasures of food, movement, and touch in healthy and balanced ways.

It doesn't matter if you're over-, under- or at your perfect weight, hate the pains in your back, think you don't have enough muscles, feel clumsy, or your nose is funny....

We'll focus on developing practical body guidance, feeling safe in your body, appreciating and accepting where you are (as hard as that can be sometimes), and removing blocks to moving forward towards a more powerful, healthy, vital body. We'll have specific calls on eating for the body's needs... and for its pleasure! We'll also use EFT to bring relief to pain and suffering... and bring more fluid movement to your body from your head to your toes.

In the members-only forum we'll have ongoing discussions on each of these topics... as well as mutual support and encouragement to guide this process.

    Beyond working on the emotional issues with EFT, I have found a few things that have worked very well with my weight - and they have made a big difference in my “ease of being” around weight.  It is fun to do…

    #1) I eat whatever I want, whenever I want it.

    #2) As long as I am feeling pleasure and joy when eating it, I eat. I celebrate the food as I eat!

    #3) The moment that eating becomes mechanical or the food becomes tasteless, and / or I realize that I am eating just to consume ( or just to “finish” it) I stop. Even if I have to spit it out into the garbage, or a napkin.  ( This really feels good to do.)

    #4) I drink lots of water- and as I am doing it I celebrate the water, and feel thankful that this amazing fluid flows right to every part of my body that needs it.

    #5) I eat less of the things that are a “so so” to me. For example if my husband is making scrambled eggs ( feeling so so ) and he asks me how many I want, I will tell him “one” and make myself satisfied with that. BUT:

    If he is making something I am WILD about, like sunny side up eggs with ranchero sauce with sliced avocado on the side———I will have two eggs!
    ( See number 3)

    #6) If I do not want something, I don’t eat it. ( If I am eating it, and I realize that I really didn’t want it, I stop!)

    I find that when I eat this way, I am listening to my body about what it needs.  If I feel very wild and happy about it, my body needs it and I enjoy pleasing my body.

    When I started doing this I lost 20 lbs pretty fast- without even “trying”.

    I hope this helps- you might enjoy trying this in between the tapping!
