EFT For a Healthier Sex Drive My husband is an incredible man, and I have always found him attractive, but since having children, getting “in the mood” has been really hard to do. After tending the kids from dawn to after dark—all day and then sometimes at night too—I found myself often “too tired”. I have always felt bad about this because I wished that I did have desire for sex more often, but no matter how hard I tried my sex drive was elusive much of the time.
Healing Missing Mother Syndrome with EFT Growing up without a loving, caring mother implies much more than lacking a same-sex role model. It is devastating. Since the mother is the first basic caretaker, losing her--in an emotional or a physical way--starts a nightmare of deprivation for a child. In a way, it never ends. Many negative conditions and feelings experienced later in life have their roots in this extremely traumatic experience.
Norah Vincent: Self-Made Man Norah Vincent is a female lesbian writer who spends a year-and-a-half as a man, Ned, experiencing an all-male bowling league, strip clubs, dating women, a monastery, aggressive direct sales work, and a men’s group. As an experiment in learning as much as she could about how men are treated by each other and by women, and recounting those experience back to us for our own reflection, Self-Made Man: One Woman’s Journey Into Manhood and Back Again is a worthwhile read. This is not a review of the book as much as wanting to point out the energetic experience s/he had, from my perspective as an emotional freedom coach.
Chronic Stress May Harm Women More If you look at the mystery diseases, most affect women more often then men. As scientists look deeper into the chemical soup that a stressed person lives with, they are finding as in this study that females end up with more of these stress hormones in their system then men do. That means that women must take more proactive steps to refresh and renew in order to rebalance their biochemistry.
