Blame It on the Wine

Was it the mixing of one glass of red wine with one glass of white that caused her to get really sick to her stomach for 24 hours? Or was it… perhaps… the fact that before going out with her friends where she had those two drinks, she had a nasty fight with her husband where he said, “I hate you,” and ruined the nice evening out they had planned together?

So often we’ll take a physical symptom like an upset stomach and blame it on “something I ate.” Yes, the something you ate might be a nasty emotion that just “can’t be digested.” This is where EFT can be used to quickly see if releasing the emotional contributor also relieves the discomfort. In this case, quick tapping on the specific event and emotions of anger and rage and shock completely released the pain in the stomach.
