Alzheimer’s client remembers husband
One of the most tragic memory losses in advanced age, whether caused by senile dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, is forgetting who a spouse or beloved caregiver is. Is there something that can be done through the energy system to help restore these memories?
EFT practitioner Virginia McConnell reports on a couple that used EFT to restore Elaine’s memory of her husband of 48 years, Leo. As Virginia points out, we don’t know yet how long it will hold, but we see with Elaine that it helped her not only with Leo but also with recognizing herself in the mirror and in pictures, and remembering the name of her new grandchild, Jack.
Virginia encouraged persistence, one of the most overlooked keys in using EFT for chronic conditions. She also helped Leo with his tremors. So often caregivers are the ones experiencing tremendous stress, and EFT can help create a stronger balance to help meet those never-ending needs.
I also wonder what we will find in the future if people use energy balancing techniques like EFT to enhance their systems regularly—like they brush their teeth twice a day. How would that impact the aging pattern?
