If you want to target the root cause of fears, beliefs, and blocks, Inner Tapping can help. And it is a potent way to unfreeze old traumas still stuck in your energy system.

What is Inner Tapping? It is a technique that guides you back to the original memories and events that created a given mindset. It then releases the “frozen” aspects in the primitive brain and the body-mind. It’s sort of “surrogate tapping for your younger self.” By tapping on the younger you who experienced the event and offering compassion and understanding, new resources become available, and we find ourselves empowered and more free.

If you’re tired of hearing your mother’s nagging voice in your head, or your father’s disapproval every time you start a project, this can be your magic eraser. If part of you is terrified of public speaking because you subconsciously fear the laughter of your kindergarten classmates, and you would like to find relief from that tension, this is the fastest and most thorough way we know of to achieve that.

We invite you to watch the video… If you cannot watch the video due to a slow internet connection, here is a PDF Document of the presentation and MP3 Audio File.

Cathy and Rick’s skillful and tender use of Inner Tapping – tapping on one’s frozen, younger parts – is helping me find my way back to me, scene by scene, big T trauma by little t trauma. With their help, I’ve been picking up, warming and breathing new life into misplaced pieces of Paula. Seems those little rebels, who had been blocking me in areas of abundance and creative expression, had been crying out to be heard and healed. — Paula Graham

I’m learning EFT. How often should I tap? Should I tap everyday? Three times a day? Once? For how long each time? — Patty

Hi Patty,

We get that question a lot.

After you have been tapping for awhile, you’ll find a good rhythm and frequency for you. Each person is different and some issues may process more quickly if you stay focused for awhile. Other things may benefit from shorter, more frequent reminders.

To start out with, some people like to tap for a short period (a few rounds of tapping) of time 2-3 times a day, but there isn’t a minimum requirement for this to work. If you tap once a week and it helps, great!

It can help to get in the habit of tapping at specific times so you remember and teach your body that tapping can bring relief. You might tap in the car before you leave the garage for work and before you go in the house after work. That can help you transition and reduce stress.

Rick suggests drinking lots of water, and then use each bathroom break to tap a round or two on whatever is coming up for you. You don’t have to say the words out loud for them to work.

A lot of people love tapping before they go to sleep.

And/or right when they wake up.

You can tap anytime you feel anxious as well.

Some people find that tapping for a longer period of time once a day is more their style. They may set aside 20-30 minutes to tap through a specific issue they’ve noticed. Or they may choose to tap along with an audio recording.

If you have a particular problem you can find articles on many subjects by searching on Thriving Now, and we offer various solutions in our store.

If you find it difficult to remember to tap, or aren’t sure what to tap on, it can help to be part of a group that encourages and offers suggestions. Our group coaching program has 10 or more calls a month where you can tap along or ask for guidance on your issues. There is an extensive library of tapping recordings for you to borrow benefits, and the forum is a caring and safe space to share your problems and get guidance and suggestions. And a lot of members find tapping along with other people helps them identify blocks and fears they didn’t know they had.

As you keep tapping and your body and mind learn how helpful it is, you will probably find it easy to know when to tap. And you’ll learn how long and how often to tap for your vitality and happiness.

I’ve been making really good progress, and I just got through some tough personal issues with tapping. But I’m angry with myself right now because for the last week or so, all I want to do is play computer games and I don’t feel like tapping much at all. What’s going on? — Beverly

Are you taking care of your day-to-day responsibilities? Paying bills, taking showers, showing up at work? If not, you may need some help getting your feet back under you and shifting from this stuck place.

If you’re still meeting your responsibilities, it sounds like you are taking a break for a bit. Could that be ok?

You said you processed and dealt with a large amount of stress. You faced some deep and terrifying fears. You took care of yourself using tapping. Congratulations!

Sometimes we need a “vacation” to recharge our batteries and to integrate the new knowledge and thought patterns. If you’ve been tapping and were curious and determined enough to clear some important issues for yourself, your strong drive and desire for freedom and abundance will have you tapping again soon!

Could you allow yourself to enjoy relaxing for right now (as long as it isn’t interfering with your job or the care and feeding of small children or animals)? What if you gave yourself a “check in” date – so you know you won’t go “too” long? Wrote it on your calender? For instance- a week from today, “check in and see how my body feels about tapping some more”?

We think, if you tune into your body, you’ll be able to tell if you need more down time or if you are avoiding something that feels big and scary. Does that resonate for you?

If it feels like the big scary part is in the way, that’s a great time to do some tapping on the fear…

Karate Chop: Even though I’m really afraid, and I want to distract my brain and deny my feelings, I also want to clear and move forward.

Even though I have this conflict, and I think this is too big to face, I don’t have to do it all alone, or all at once!

Even though I don’t even want to look at this, it’s much more fun to play computer games and pretend it’s not there, I choose to gather my courage and at least take a peek. It may not be nearly as big as I dread, and I’m tired of running away.

Top of the Head: I used to have to run away.
Eyebrow: I didn’t have many resources.
Side of the Eye: It was better to deny my feelings.
Under the Eye: It was better to distract myself from my fears.
Under the Nose: But I am a lot stronger now.
Chin: I have new and powerful skills.
Collarbone: A part of me thinks this is too much…
Under the Arm: But what if it was too much for me in the past, and not too much for me now?

Top of the Head: It is easier to run away.
Eyebrow: At least for awhile.
Side of the Eye: But then it starts getting tiring.
Under the Eye: I have to distract myself more and more.
Under the Nose: I miss the clarity and calm.
Chin: I miss the confidence and openness I felt.
Collarbone: I can look at this.
Under the Arm: I choose to look at this.

Top of the Head: I was afraid.
Eyebrow: I was tired.
Side of the Eye: I took a break.
Under the Eye: I rested.
Under the Nose: And now I am recharged.
Chin: I am afraid.
Collarbone: But I have support.
Under the Arm: I choose to look at this,
Top of the Head: And reclaim my freedom.

Take a deep breath.

What thoughts, Feelings, and ideas come up?

I don’t have a problem coming up with negative statements to tap on, but I have trouble moving to the positive. What do I do? And if I focus on the negative, will I draw lots of negative things to me? –Debbie

It’s ok to stay on the negative as long as you feel that way. People tend to know when it’s ok to offer some positives. And its ok to step there gently. You might tap a round or two on the negative, and then continue adding “I choose to see this differently”, or “I ask for guidance and clarity on healing this”.

If saying the positive doesn’t feel authentic or genuine, don’t go there yet… just ask for positive energy to arrive in your consciousness at the right time for you.

Karate Chop: Even though I feel really negative, and I have good reason, I’m open to finding something positive to tap on, too.

Even though I can’t find anything positive, and you wouldn’t either if you were in my situation, I choose to acknowledge that and release those old traumas and blocks that are keeping me stuck.

Even though I feel very negative and that’s the truth, I allow myself to feel my feelings, and I ask for clarity and guidance to changing this pattern and finding more joy in life.

Top of the Head: I feel very negative!
Eyebrow: That’s the truth.
Side of the Eye: I can tap on the negative as long as I need to.
Under the Eye: As long as I tap, my body is releasing the energy.
Under the Nose: I would like to feel more positive…
Chin: But I’m not there yet.
Collarbone: I choose to feel what I feel.
Under the Arm: And learn to accept myself right where I am.

Top of the Head: Even though I have all these negative emotions stuck in my body…
Eyebrow: I’m tapping now.
Side of the Eye: I’m teaching my body to release these blocks…
Under the Eye: …these old fears and traumas.
Under the Nose: Each time I tap…
Chin: I soothe my body a bit more.
Collarbone: I’m building my strength…
Under the Arm: And learning resilience.

Top of the Head: I do feel negative…
Eyebrow: But I’m doing good things for myself for a change.
Side of the Eye: It is a struggle sometimes…
Under the Eye: But as I tap, I love myself just a bit more.
Under the Nose: My body could use a lot of love.
Chin: So could my mind.
Collarbone: I may feel negative…
Under the Arm: But I’m doing positive things.
Top of the Head: And I’m open to clarity and help feeling more positive right now.

Take a deep breath.

How does that feel to your body? Our bodies don’t feel good when we speak something that is untrue, so pay attention to the aches and tensions that come up. They can help you get clarity.

I feel overwhelmed with all the wonderful articles on your website. I don’t know where to start or what would help the most. Ideas? — Kate

There are a lot of different articles on many subjects here on Thriving Now. And you’re not alone with feeling a bit flooded… curious people like us always have “too many” things we want to read, learn, study, or absorb. The neat thing is each of us has intuition that can guide us to the best fit for us… right NOW.

We often recommend scanning the titles and seeing which ones seem “brighter” or “bigger” or more attractive. That can draw us to the article(s) that would help us the most in the moment.

If you have a specific topic you are interested in, you can search for articles on it using the search box in the upper left of thrivingnow.com. You can also browse our tag cloud for subjects that draw your attention.

Do you have a secret belief that you must do it ALL?

Considering an all-you-can-eat buffet can help you perceive life with more happy-easy clarity. At such a feast, you get to select what YOU find most appetizing… and leave the rest. You don’t need to eat that which doesn’t appeal to you…would you? “Oh, drats! I hate brussel sprouts but HERE they ARE. Guess I’ve got to eat them….” That would be… kooky! Give yourself PERMISSION to be selective, without the strain of eating it all (or reading it all, or learning it all, or even loving everyone.)

At the buffet you might take a small taste of something (skim) to see if it tastes as good as you think. You could go back for more or pass on it the next time you pass through, couldn’t you? And even if you took a big scoop, if it didn’t taste good, you could choose not to eat it, even though it looked good at first glance.

Same thing goes for articles here, in your inbox, in search results… everywhere. Let’s do some EFT tapping to take some of the emotional urge out of over-filling your plate, so to speak.

Karate Chop: Even though there is a lot here, I invite myself to choose the most delicious and nutritious information so I can feed my heart and soul.

Even though there is so much available, what if I saw it as abundance rather than a burden? I can taste a bit of what looks delicious to me now, and pass on the rest.

Even though I want to dive in and consume it all, my brain and body are asking to be more selective. I appreciate my enthusiasm and accept that my guidance will take me in a loving direction if I can relax and trust it.

Top of the Head: I am overwhelmed.
Eyebrow: There is so much!
Side of the Eye: Too many choices!
Under the Eye: I feel like I need to read it all.
Under the Nose: But I don’t.
Chin: I can choose.
Collarbone: I can nibble some things,
Under the Arm: And savor others.

Top of the Head: I don’t have to “eat” it all.
Eyebrow: I can choose the items that nourish me.
Side of the Eye: And my body already knows what fits.
Under the Eye: I invite my heart and my gut to guide me.
Under the Nose: Please make the one that’s next REALLY BRIGHT.
Chin: Please draw my attention.
Collarbone: Let me hear my inner guidance.
Under the Arm: And give me clarity!

Take a deep breath.

Choosing articles to read is a wonderful way to practice inner guidance. If you aren’t sure, the worst that happens is you spend 2 minutes reading an article that doesn’t resonate for you. If the article hits home, you get more insight in how your guidance “talks” to you.

If you want to practice this, our Group Coaching Program is a great place to learn tips, tricks, and insights to hearing YOUR guidance. What does your heart say?

If acupuncture is so good for you and the Chinese have been using it for 5000 years, why did the ancient Chinese only live half as long as modern man? Does that mean tapping on meridian acupoints isn’t really helpful? – Marty

It is very likely true that the average ancient Chinese lived half as long as modern man. And in ancient times, the elite and educated in China had access to acupuncture but certainly not everyone.

It was tough to live long and prosper in European countries as well. In Europe, sewage was dumped out windows onto the street and into rivers. They didn’t know much about sanitation and didn’t have the resources to keep clean the way we do. Even a few hundred years ago, drinkable running water in a house was extremely rare. Many people struggled just to find enough food. All this made them susceptible to disease and left them less resilient.

But that really is the PAST. From our perspective, tapping helps people improve emotionally, physically, and vibrationally from where they are. We have so much more abundance than we did in the past. Those of us who use tapping today are doing so from a new vantage point where we consciously choose to shift our vibration from dis-ease to one of calm confidence. It an approach that incorporates self-honesty, intention, and affirmation… alongside the stimulation of the acupoints.

It’s Okay To Be Skeptical… And Try It For Yourself Anyway

The question we have for you is how do you feel when you tap? Do you feel more relaxed and happy? Most people do.

So even if tapping doesn’t extend your life (and reducing stress is strongly linked longer life), it can certainly make it more enjoyable and happier!

You can even try tapping on your doubts about tapping!

Karate Chop: Even though I’m not sure that tapping works, and it might be a waste of time for me, I choose to examine the data and come up with an answer that feels right for me personally.

Even though I’m pretty skeptical, I do want to feel better, and it might be worth testing out to see how it makes me feel.

Even though I’m not sure this is for me, no one’s making me do this! I can try it out if I want, and decide for myself.

Top of the Head: I’m not sure about this tapping stuff.
Eyebrow: I don’t know if EFT is for me.
Side of the Eye: That’s okay.
Under the Eye: It’s pretty fast to learn.
Under the Nose: I can try it out and see how I feel.
Chin: It does seem kind of silly.
Collarbone: But it doesn’t hurt.
Under the Arm: What if it helps?

Top of the Head: It’s okay if I’m skeptical!
Eyebrow: A lot of people are when they start.
Side of the Eye: I can give it a try…
Under the Eye: And decide for me.
Under the Nose: What if it helps?
Chin: So what if it doesn’t?
Collarbone: I’m open to finding something that helps.
Under the Arm: What if this is another tool for my toolbox… one that I can always have at my fingertips?

Top of the Head: I’m still not sure.
Eyebrow: And that’s okay.
Side of the Eye: It may be silly…
Under the Eye: But I do feel a little more relaxed!
Under the Nose: I like that.
Chin: I can decide for myself.
Collarbone: Is this something I want to explore?
Under the Arm: It’s okay if I have doubts.
Top of the Head: I can see what works for me!

Take a deep breath.

Just notice how your body feels after you tap. Does it feel more relaxed and less resistant? What else helps you feel better this fast (that doesn’t involve food, alcohol, or a credit card)?

Introduction

Energy Tapping (also called Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT) can bring you quick, effective RELIEF from stress, anxiety, overwhelm, pain and suffering, distressing thoughts, disturbing memories, and limiting beliefs.

It can help you connect with your inner power and transform procrastination and frustration so you can achieve your dreams. Tapping can remove the blocks to abundance, love, and vitality.

To some, this may sound far-fetched. It sounded that way to us at first, too. After all, there are so many people promising “miracle cures” that just don’t work. But we’re not promising…

We’re just inviting you to try it out for yourself… and see. We are both engineers and we like practical approaches that work efficiently. We’ve seen for ourselves and our thousands of clients that gently tapping on these acupuncture points can shift old beliefs and fears quickly and help you reach your desires. We’ve seen incredible results and you can, too! (You can see some of the testimonials we’ve received at http://www.thrivingnow.com/testimonials).

What is Energy Tapping (EFT)?

We humans touch, hold, pat, and rub ourselves for comfort… and always have. We naturally reach out to comfort others.

We feel powerful emotions… some that feel good and some that feel bad.

And we talk to ourselves… even though our self-talk is often critical rather than accepting and encouraging.

Tapping is a simple and easy-to-use process where you:
1) tune into your body-mind,
2) speak a truth about how you feel right now, and
3) choose how you’d like to feel…
4) all while tapping on specific natural comfort points.

This unique combination helps you shift your physical and emotional energy in the direction of relief… towards feeling really good.

What Can You Use Tapping For?

Tapping gives you instant access to relief at your fingertips. It helps brings the energy of your whole being into alignment. Spending a few minutes tapping can bring intense negative emotions down to manageable levels and allow new insights and options to come to mind. It can allow you to connect more deeply with others and yourself. Tapping can help you change resistance and procrastination into insight and creativity… with renewed inspiration and direction for your day.

You can use Tapping to relieve physical pain as well. Most physical pain has an emotional component. By tapping on the pain—along with any guilt, shame, anger, resentment, worry, or frustration behind it—many people find their pain decreasing or even disappearing entirely. With Tapping your body can finally stop holding onto the stuck energy and start moving towards natural vitality and health.

Not only can Tapping bring relief from negative emotions, it can help you remove blocks to deep and abiding happiness. Tapping on long-standing fears, old traumas, and negative self-worth will open the door to more peace, love, and joy in your life.

Tapping makes life easier. Instead of forcing yourself through your days with effort and willpower, you can find yourself flowing naturally and easily, without resistance or numerous distractions.

Why not give it a try?

Where Did Energy Tapping Come From?

Have you ever seen someone rub their forehead when they were stressed? Or clutch the base of their throat when shocked? Hold their heart when it is breaking? And of course, we pat babies to soothe them when they are upset.

Touch is comforting. We’re wired for it.

Tapping is a gentle form of soothing touch.

There are some key points where the flow of the body’s energy is more “accessible.” Such points were discovered and documented a long time ago. In fact, the Chinese have been stimulating these points through touch (acupressure) and needles (acupuncture) for over 5000 years! It’s also from traditional Chinese medicine that we learned about the flow of vital energy (chi or qi) along meridian pathways. Since the tapping points are found on these meridians, EFT or Energy Tapping is also known as Meridian Tapping.

Starting in the 1960’s and 70’s with George Goodheart and John Diamond and further refined in the 80’s and 90’s by Roger Callahan, Patricia Carrington, Gary Craig, Fred Gallo, Donna Eden, Carol Look, and many others, the benefits of tapping on the meridian acupoints has been extensively documented. Experience shows that tapping can shift our beliefs and thoughts quickly and with much less pain than conventional therapies.

There are lots of theories on how and why it works, but no one can say for sure. (We just see the positive results.) Scientific studies do show that the electrical resistance in the skin at the meridian acupoints is much lower than the rest of the body. Brain wave studies show energy tapping affects the deep subconscious.

However it works, tapping seems to activate our body’s innate self-healing intelligence and allows us to transform our lives. Case histories abound showing astounding changes in anxieties, fears, and phobias. Hundreds of thousands of people use it to improve their relationships, their ability to work, and how much they enjoy life.

Quick Relief

Some people report “one minute miracles” where long lasting changes occur in minutes. We’ve had them ourselves personally and with clients. They’re wonderful!

Astonishingly rapid, permanent relief has “sold” many people on using Tapping for themselves and with others. Search the internet and you’ll find thousands of cases of quick, permanent relief for phobias, physical pains, and more… all using Energy Tapping (EFT).

Rich Emotional Rewards… Compounding Over Time

As exciting as such special cases are, they do not happen for everyone… or every time… which is okay! (It doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong or that nothing will work for you.)

Indeed, as experts in this field, what most excites us every day is seeing the way people deeply benefit from tapping… over time.

- Anxious Annie… becomes surprisingly calm and confident.
- Blocked Bob… discovers his inner direction and self-worth.
- Lonely Lisa… heals her heart and revels in new passions.
- Selfless Sally… starts taking care of herself for a change.
- Timid Ted… makes new friends and learns to dance.
- Worried Wanda… develops deep inner peace and strength.

Isn’t that what you want, too? To discover your own authentic strengths and develop them so they are strong and resilient… to be able to see life from new, more empowering perspectives… to love and co-create within healthy relationships? To us, that’s true emotional freedom. And it is what Tapping is really perfectly suited to help you achieve.

You can learn more about where Energy Tapping (EFT) came from in our History of Tapping.

Okay, How Do I Tap?

Getting started is very simple. It takes about 2-5 minutes to learn the basics. Children love this, too. It empowers them to feel better! Once you learn the points, you can start tapping on whatever is important to you. We include some examples to get you started, and you can find many more tapping ideas and help freely available on our website www.thrivingnow.com

With two or three fingers of either hand, lightly tap with your fingertips on the locations shown in the Tapping Points Diagram (above).

As you do, you will repeat a phrase to help focus on the emotional and physical feelings. Use the same pressure you would use if you were tapping on a table to make a drumming sound. You want to make contact, but not hurt yourself or cause discomfort. Tap roughly 3-7 times in each location. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap. If you have long fingernails, use the pads near the end of your fingers to tap.

We start by tapping on the Karate Chop point where we typically make 1-3 “Even though” statements (to tune into your body-mind, your emotions, and give the energy a direction towards relief)… while tapping continuously. This is the area of your hand that you would use to “karate chop” something. Tap with the other hand, using your fingertips. (Some people rub the Sore Spot as an alternative to the Karate Chop point. It is located about four inches down from the point of the collarbone and a few inches out from your heart. You can rub this area gentle with a few fingers. Either location will work fine, so use what is easiest for you.)

Next, we move to the Top of the Head and use the fingertips on one or both hands to tap. There are a bunch of energy points here, and you can tap in the center, or find a spot or two that feels good to you. Some people even use the flat of their hand to pat the entire top of the head.

Now we’ll work down the body. (This makes the points easier to remember. The order is not crucial; don’t worry if you skip one, and you can even do the points in reverse. Tapping is very forgiving.)

The Eyebrow points are located at the beginning of the eyebrow, nearest the center of the face. You can use the index and middle fingers together, on either or both hands, to tap the eyebrow points. (Some people start at this point rather than the top of the head; it does not matter.)

The Side of the Eye points are located on the bones at the outside of the eyes. The points are not so close to the eye that you blink and not so far away that you are tapping in the softer temple area. Using the index and middle fingers together, tap on either one or both side of the eye points.

The Under the Eye points are on the bone located under the eye… even with the pupils. Using the fingertips of the index and middle fingers, softly tap this spot under either or both eyes. Be gentle here; it is a sensitive area.

Now tap Under the Nose. The spot is roughly midway between the bottom of the nose and the top of the lip.

The Chin point is not really on the tip of the chin; it is midway between the bottom of the lower lip and the chin, in that indentation area.

For the Collarbone points find the start of one of your collarbones at the base of your throat and move about an inch down and an inch outward towards your shoulder. You can use two to four fingers together on either hand to tap the collarbone spots (or tap both at the same time). These are powerful points for stress and anxiety relief. Many people use the collarbone points all by themselves when they feel anxious.

The Under the Arm points are located about 4 inches below the armpits (about mid-bra line on a woman). You can reach across to tap (for example, lift your left arm and use the four fingers of your right hand to tap under your left arm) or lift your arm up and use the hand on the same side to tap, whichever feels more comfortable.

We often return to the Top of the Head and tap. This can help the round feel complete.

Of course, you can end at any point. You can start at the eyebrow or top of the head. You can leave out points, too. Energy Tapping is flexible and accommodates many variations. You don’t have to do it perfectly. Your energy system is connected so each point you tap resonates throughout the system. It can also be very helpful to tune into your body, see how it feels, tap where it seems to “want” to, and stop when it feels right.

These are the nine comfort points that are most often used in Energy Tapping (out of 400+ points that are recognized in acupuncture). They are also the primary tapping points used in Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT) and in the short form of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Let’s Put It All Together

We’ll now combine the basic tapping sequence with tuning into your body-mind, speaking a truth about how you feel right now, and choosing how you’d like to feel.

1. Tune-in. Where do you feel discomfort or distress? What does it feel like? Be as specific as possible. Ideally, include the location, the description of the feeling, and what the emotion is. (“Worried” is a bit too general. “This tight knot of worry in my forehead” is better.)

2. Note your starting intensity (0-10), with 0 being no intensity and 10 being very intense: ____. (If you don’t know, guess. It helps you tune into the feeling and how it does or does not shift after the tapping.)

3. While continuously tapping on the karate chop point, emphatically say your set-up statement three times. This statement typically includes the first part that speaks a truth about how you feel right now (from step 1), followed by a choice about how you’d like to feel. In this example, we’ve chosen a statement of self-acceptance:

“Even though _______________ (I have this knot of worry in my forehead), I deeply and completely accept myself.” (Repeat 3 times.)

4. Tap on each of the points approximately 3-7 times, re-stating your issue (the reminder phrase) at each point: “This _______________ (knot of worry in my forehead)”.

- Top of head
- Eyebrow
- Side of eye
- Under the eye
- Under the nose
- Chin
- Collarbone
- Under the arm
- Back to the top of head

5. Take a deep breath!

6. Note your ending intensity (0-10), with 0 being no intensity (it’s gone!) and 10 being very intense: ______. If it’s above a “2,” repeat the steps above.

You can also make the following changes as you tap:

- Modify the set-up statement in step (2) to “Even though I still have some of this _________, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

- Change the reminder phrase to “Remaining ________.”

- Be more specific. What is the best way to describe what you are now feeling? The physical feeling or the emotion in the pain may move or change. That’s progress! You’ve got your energy moving!

Our Introductory Guide to Energy Tapping (EFT) is just a taste of what is possible. (Get it now… FREE… by entering your email address in the box to the right.)

Just as there is much more that you can do with computers than just send email, there is SO much more that Tapping can do for you when applied artfully to specific areas of your life.

Isn’t that exciting? We love having such a tool for personal transformation right at our fingertips.

It’s also okay… even encouraged… to TEAM UP!

It’s easy to rub your own belly… harder to rub your own back. Find Partners! The best practitioners in this field tap with others. We do!

Consider this… If you have negative life experiences that still feel emotionally painful years later, chances are they were traumatic back then because you felt… alone, unsupported, unprotected, unsafe.

If you find someone to be there with you now as you tap… to radiate supportive and compassionate love combined with professional-level skill and emotional strength… well, wouldn’t that would have made all the difference back then…?

It will make all the difference now, too.

There are many talented people who do this work. Worldwide. And tapping is just as effective over the phone or by video conference as in person… sometimes even more. You’re not limited in finding support, no matter where you live.

We’d love to team up with you. If you like our style and are considering working with us, we’re honored and delighted. You can drop us an email right now if you’re ready to begin.

Our short form of Tapping drops the complicated 9-gamut procedure that is part of Gary Craig’s long form of EFT.

Gary himself rarely used that procedure in his later work, and most experts have found tapping works as well or better without it.

Also, some practitioners start or end at different points, or may include or exclude the top of the head points.

Some include points on the fingers. (Near the bottom of the nail bed, on the thumb side of the finger).

Others include other meridian acupoints (there are over 400).

Some rub the sore spots (shown on the tapping diagram) rather than tapping the karate chop.

As far as we can tell, these variations are stylistic rather than substantive. If it’s working for YOU, you’re doing it right.

Some people like tapping on the finger points, the Karate Chop point, and the Gamut point (between the pinkie and the ring finger, down about 1-2″ in the back of the hand). This can be done in meetings, movies, or while talking to friends… without drawing too much attention.

See what works for you! It’s okay to be curious and notice what works best within your energy system.
