Are we all supposed to be thin?

From a physical body standpoint, I doubt that we are all destined to be thin. I am thin myself. It would be easy for me to view my body type as optimal, since “thin is in.” Yet, I also know that there are men who have much more of a warrior’s body type than I do. Their bodies have larger bones, more natural mass, can endure more physical stress without complaining in pain.

I do not have a warrior’s body. I don’t believe that any amount of exercise would change that; yes I could add muscle mass, strength, and flexibility—to a point. I am just not going to look like my brother John who can bench press 500 pounds. He also, in the absence of intense exercise, naturally carries a higher body fat percentage than I do.

So, is there ONE healthy weight? In the absence of emotional disruptions, and in the presence of a healthy diet, is everyone thin?

I don’t think so.
